OnionTomato Thokku/Tomato curry


Ingredients:

  • Onion - 4 chopped finely


  • Tomoto - ripen 3 chopped finely


  • Chillipowder - 1 1/2 tsp


  • Tumeric powder - 1/4 tsp


  • Curry leaves - 1 string


  • Sesame oil - 7 tsp


  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp


  • Urad dal - 1 tsp


  • Hing - Pinch
Preparation Method:

1. Heat oil in the pan, once it is hot, add oil.

  • 2. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, hing and curry leaves


  • 3. Add the finely chopped onion, saute them till golden brown.


  • 4. Now add the finely chopped tomatoes and cook them till they are mushy


  • 5. Now add the chillipowder and tumeric powder, add 1/2 glass of water.


  • 6. Allow it to boil till raw smell goes off.


  • 7. Heat off the heat when it is semi solid.


  • 8. Garnish with corriander leaves.


  • 9. Serve with chappatis and puri.
